Ride Report believes that everyone should have access to a form of transportation that is fun, sustainable, empowering and convenient – whether it's biking, walking, scootering or something else we haven't thought of. The goal of our Micromobility Enablement Benefit is to expand this access to as many people and trips as possible.
The Micromobility Enablement Benefit is available to all full-time employees at Ride Report who have been at the company for at least 6 months. It provides a one-time subsidy of up to $1,000 to help pay for an electric or human-powered micromobility vehicle of the employee's choice.
<aside> 💰 Note the IRS does not recognize micromobility as a benefit so your bonus will be taxed as income. In the principle of fairness for employees making different salaries, Ride Report doesn't subsidize the taxes on this benefit and offers the same $1,000 subsidy to every employee.

Ride Report also partners with some micromobility manufacturers to offer an additional discount of up to 35% on selected eBikes. Ask your manager for a current list of partnering manufacturers.
Bikes, eBikes, scooters, trikes, handbikes and other similar micromobility devices are covered by this benefit. The important thing is that it is enabling! Employees are also welcome to bring their own ideas to their manager for approval. Example uses of the benefit could include:
The Micromobility Enablement Benefit is considered an experimental benefit and is currently useable once per employee. After a suitable period, Ride Report will evaluate the success of the benefit to determine how it might be improved and whether it should be a renewing benefit. Your input is always welcome!
If you want to buy an eBike or other micromobility vehicle, talk with your manager! You'll just need the proof of purchase of your vehicle.
